For kids who begin to walk, the function of orthopedic mats is crucial. Already, the first contact of the foot with the mat forms your child's arch. This will affect their entire physiological development. The variety of surfaces on which they walk is most important for proper arch formation and strengthening of the entire muscle tone of the lower limbs and core. Firm, soft, cold, warm, spiny, soft, straight or protruding. All this can be found in our Medium 2 set, which we recommend to babies who have just started walking.

 

For older babies, they help them climb properly and strengthen their back, shoulder, and neck muscles. The child rolls on them and gently massages the whole body, which motivates them to further movements and progress.

Instructions for Use and Maintenance:

• Barefoot Use: To maximize the orthopaedic benefits (reflex massage, acupuncture stimulation, and muscle activation), the mats should always be used barefoot.
• Routine Cleaning: Vacuum the mats regularly using a soft brush attachment to remove dust, crumbs, and hair without scratching the surface.
• Washing: Wash the tiles with lukewarm, soapy water (a mild dishwashing liquid or basic low-pH soap works perfectly). You can spot-clean them with a damp cloth or take them to the tub/shower to rinse them off completely.
• Heat Warning: Do not place the puzzle mats directly on top of a hot radiator or right next to an intense heat source, as extreme heat can warp the plastic.
• What to AVOID: Do not use harsh chemicals, bleach, or highly abrasive scrubbing tools, as these can degrade the softened PVC and fade the vibrant colors.
• Material: flexible PVC - tested according to EU standard EN 71-1:2014 + A1:20
